Thanks to our friend João for sharing this brilliant forgotten Berber traditional album with us. Fresh, openhearted and timeless like the snowy cedar-covered mountains of the Middle Atlas.

Grand merci à notre ami João d’avoir déniché ce petit bijou de musique traditionnelle Berbère tombé dans l’oubli. Frais, à coeur ouvert et hors du temps comme les sommets enneigés recouverts de cèdres du Moyen Atlas.

  3. Do these rarities have no date?

  4. When I say date I wanted to say the one to release on vinyl. But with regards to shared content I thank you. Very good.

    1. I couldn't find any date for this one which is unfortunately often the case for traditional music. This album was probably released between the late 70s-early 80s.

  5. It's strange but as soon as they started to sing I know I'm in for a treat here.

  6. I get premonitions like that all the time. I actually have a nice Oul Khouya 45 rpm lined up for this summer. Take good care.
